  22. As far as pay is concerned, you have to look at your skill level and the 
  23. area of the country you'll be working in.  $50,000 a year may be a lot in 
  24. Ohio, but in L.A. it's not that great.  Your skill level and experience 
  25. will also dictate a lot about how much you earn.  If you are a highly 
  26. skilled animator, you could be lucky enough to have a few different 
  27. animation houses after you - then you can pick and choose.

  29. The best thing to do is work on your demo reel until you feel that you 
  30. are at a level at which people are willing to pay you more than what you 
  31. earn or as much as you earn today.  This may mean that you're working on 
  32. your reel for 2-3 years, but if that is your dream 2-3 years is nothing.
